I’ve started working on a new documentary, an artist profile of Lisa Teleford. Lisa, a traditional cedar bark weaver from Everett, WA, shares the bark-gathering and pounding process as well as intricate weaving techniques from past to present styles. She has also merged the traditional weaving style into contemporary forms such as highly coveted corsets, cowboy boots and elegant women’s shoes.
Lisa’s work can be viewed at many museums as well as private collections around the world.
