+ Carriers of Culture Documentary for Smithsonian Folklife Festival / M.S.U. Museum (Post-production)
75 Native American weavers from across the United States gathered in Washington, DC, to display, lecture and share their intricate and endangered art form. MPP will also visit individual weavers, going deeper into their lives and the complexity of their art. Carriers of Culture captures the spirit of the artists and the beauty of their amazing craft.
+ Artist Profile of Haida Weaver, Lisa Teleford (In production)
Lisa, a traditional cedar bark weaver from Everett, WA, shares the bark gathering and pounding process as well as intricate weaving techniques from past to present styles. Lisa’s work can be viewed at many museums across the United States. She is currently featured at the Heard Museum of Native American Culture in Phoenix, AZ.

The second segment of the “My Ancestor’s Voice” documentary series captures the story a 93-year-old Southern Arrivaipa Elder in search of his ancestral background.
